Meet The Canoe Creatures™

Canoe Creatures Have Arrived

Something new has surfaced in the world of kids’ paddling.

They’re here!

Meet the Canoe Creatures, a brand-new way for kids to make every paddling adventure their own.

But it’s more than a canoe paddle. It’s an invitation to imagine, explore, and create lasting memories together on and off the water.

Each Canoe Creature starts with a colourful and weirdly wonky handcrafted laminated wooden paddle and a Creature Starter Sticker Sheet.

Then kids can add their themed stickers from their favourite Paddle Sticker Sheets (each sold separately), mix and match pieces, and create a one-of-a-kind creature that’s ready for adventures on the water.

No two Canoe Creatures have to be the same. Build one, change it, and create a new creature whenever inspiration strikes.

🌟 Visit the Canoe Creatures page to explore the paddles, sticker sheets, how they work, and the Canoe Creature Field Guide where young explorers can share their creations.

Where did the idea of Canoe Creatures & Paddle Sticker Sheets come from?

We’ve always believed in getting kids excited about paddling. That’s why we created our vibrantly tinted Cub WaterColours paddles.

Then just randomly one day, on a cold February evening this past winter, Fiona turned to Mike and asked, “Kids’ paddles don’t have to be built for performance… right? What if we made them into wonky shapes and turned them into monsters, unicorns, and all sorts of weird creatures?”

At first, we thought we’d laser engrave and hand-paint each paddle. But that would have made every paddle far more expensive than most parents would want to spend on a canoe paddle for their little one.

Then came another thought. What if children could create the creatures themselves? The challenge was finding a way that was fun, durable, and didn’t require parents to varnish over a painted paddle themselves.

The answer was Paddle Sticker Sheets.

And that’s how Canoe Creatures were born.

Paddle. Play. Explore.
