At Badger, we believe paddles are more than just tools to move your canoe. They’re a connection to the wilderness, an extension of the paddler, and a testament to the places they take you.
The Signature Series is a tribute to that philosophy. We designed these paddles in collaboration with some of the most legendary figures in canoe culture. They’re designed with and for true adventurers who understand that paddling isn’t just an activity — it’s a way of life.
That’s why Signature Series paddles aren’t only built to perform. They carry decades of wilderness experience, design wisdom, and respect for nature. They’re conceived not in boardrooms, but on the banks of backcountry lakes and around smoky campfires. They reflect soul, not just specs.
Guided by experience. Inspired by devotion.
Meet the trailblazers who help lead the way — and the signature paddles that bear their names.
Kevin Callan
Crafted with iconic Canadian paddler Kevin Callan in mind, the Happy Camper Paddle is designed for long-distance comfort with its Woodland grip and the proven performance of our Tripper blade.
Individually numbered and engraved with the Happy Camper mark, this paddle is as unique as the man himself and built for the canoeing adventures he inspires.
Bill Swift (Swift Canoe)
Inspired by Bill’s early days at Camp Pathfinder and Camp Keewaydin, The Swifty features a classic guide-style grip and a high-volume beaver tail blade—offering quick acceleration, smooth maneuvering, and versatile control.
Named in honour of Bill Swift Sr., a legendary figure in Algonquin Park, this paddle is a tribute to his legacy and love of wilderness canoeing.
