The Unforeseen Impact of The Coronavirus – Summer 2020

Greetings fellow paddlers! The novel Coronavirus has brought about a number of unforeseen circumstances for our small business as well as for many others in the paddlesports industry (and beyond). As it turns out, paddling and Social Distancing happen to go quite well together, and as such, the demand for our products at present is many times higher than usual.

Also at this time the supply chain is slow and it has been difficult – with much more delay than is normal – for us to restock our supply of blanks.

Unfortunately, the result of all this is we will not be able to commit to specific timelines on special orders and will likely not have any production time available, for approximately the next 8 weeks, while we secure our supply of blanks and work to fill our current orders.

Please be patient with us. We may currently be a little extra slow getting back to emails and messages as we try to tackle the unexpected volume of orders and queries. In the meantime, please be sure to check in with our dealers. Albeit limited, we are getting some stock out to them. Thus Swift, Algonquin Outfitters, Trailhead, Rutabaga, or one of our other favourite retailers may already have your perfect Badger paddle in stock and ready to ship to you!

Otherwise, thank you ever so much for supporting our small paddle making business. We hope to be in touch with you soon, but for now we wish you and yours a very happy, heathy, safe (and mostly bug-free) paddling season!
